Our test laboratory mainly tests and measures:

• compressor & turbine characteristics
• vibrations
• natural frequencies of blades
• thermal analysis & thermal shocks
• oil flow
• seals and oil leak simulation
• containment tests
• simulation of a client’s problems

Each new turbocharger which enters series production has to pass the PV&V process - validation and verification.

Engine-less test bench

We use two test stands for development work.

The KRATZER test stand with a burner output of 400kW, adapted to test the whole series of ČZ turbochargers.
